At the start of 2023 Charles Parker Bennett joined the Penwortham Business Network which was originally set up by Michael Bailey Estate Agents, Vincents Solicitors and the Lime Bar. The aim of the group is to strengthen and support local business, provide information on local issues and opportunities, build a positive network to create good in the local community and instigate and promote local events and fundraising.
Alongside the monthly networking meetings, the Group has also instigated an annual Community Clean Up event which was held on 28th March and just happened to be one of the wettest days of the year! Melanie Coupe from our Preston office ventured out in the wind and rain to help out at this worthwhile event and it was great to see so many local businesses, residents and school children coming out to support, despite the downpour. Together they managed to collect 15 bin bags of rubbish from around the town.
